“I am a retired RN residing in Gansevoort, NY. I was lifting a heavy grocery bag and felt a painful disabling twinge in my left ring finger hand accompanied by numbness and tingling radiating through-out the palm. I put up with it for several weeks but the symptoms only worsened, and I knew I was experiencing Stenosing tenosynovitis. As a CDPHP member, I followed protocol selecting an in-network orthopedic provider - hand specialist with positive reviews and decided to see Dr. Patrick Marinello in Malta, NY. The office staff was pleasant and professional. When I met the doctor, I was forthright and asked for treatment that day if possible since my symptoms were getting more pronounced. He did a thorough evaluation and gave me a steroid injection. I felt relief after several hours and more improved by the next day. The symptoms have not returned, and I am pain-free with full function. I was very impressed with this physician and his excellent skill and professionalism and recommend this recommend this medical group and especially Dr. Marinello. This visit proved to be a very positive experience.!”

“After a mishap in scheduling, Dr. Marinello fit me into his already booked schedule for viewing. I had a piece of wood in my finger that urgent care wouldn't touch because of how deep it was. While I was concerned about not having the finger cut open initially, Dr. Marinello explained that while wood may have been in the finger, he couldn't cut aimlessly through the finger to find it. He instead recommended antibiotics and soaking for some time and revisit surgery in a week or 2. He didn't want to rush into surgery just for the sake of operation. Miraculously, two weeks later, the piece of wood came out on its own, and it was a massive chunk of wood. No surgery - no hassles. Dr. Marinello appeared as happy about the outcome as I was. He seems like a real nice Dr who connects with his patients. I'd recommend Dr. Marinello in the future.”
