“I was referred to see Dr. Spelts by my primary care physician due to pain in my right knee.
On my first visit with Dr. Spelts I explained my symptoms and he needed further information and ordered an MRI of the right knee.
This MRI showed a large tear affecting the lateral meniscus.
Based on this he did a steroid injection into the knee joint which provided almost immediate relief of the pain. Unfortunately this relief only lasted about a week, and then gradually came back.
On my next visit he suggested injections to provide a lubricant into the knee.
I had a series of six such injections, the last one being about a week ago.
This has helped substantially in relieving the knee pain, for which I am very grateful.
