“I went to see Dr. Mulligan for a second opinion on my wrist. I previously had a broken ulna bone that had since healed. OrthoNY did not believe that by merely removing the hardware in my arm that I would regain the full use of my arm. They told me that my lack of mobility was due to the trauma I had suffered to that arm. I was confident that the hardware was the hold up in my rehabilitation progress. Dr. Mulligan agreed to look at my arm and after a CT scan decided that the device was impeding mobility. He scheduled me for surgery. The surgery was quick and went well. After a week of healing, he ordered two months of physical therapy. I went to Jacqueline Harris at Saratoga Regional Therapy Center and worked hard. Today, I have full use of my arm thanks to Dr. Mulligan. I know three other people who have had hand surgery with him previously (which is why I chose him), and they all have full use of their arms and hands.”

Mine was arthritis related and I didn't expect there was much that could be done. Dr. Mulligan explained the options with the arthritis, then treated a tendon issue that was an additional cause of pain and immobility. One that I had no idea existed. As a result of my visit, my pain levels decreased and most importantly, I can close my fingers again.
