“I am writing this review on behalf of my 12-year-old son. He dislocated his shoulder at the local high school football camp in July. After a few days, it was apparent that he had something concerning going on with the shoulder. I called the practice to see if there was a shoulder doctor there who would agree to see my young son. I wanted him to go to University Orthopedic Surgeons because I was a patient 23 years ago and knew they were the best around. Dr. Michael Kern agreed to see my son, and I am so happy that he did! My son was so nervous the day of surgery, but I can’t tell you, one person, from Dr. Kern on down to the receptionists at the office and surgery center, who were not exceptional. As Dr. Kern left the room the day of our test results, my son teared up, and his nurse, Debbie, walked back in on him crying and took such good care of us! My son loves Dr. Kern and Debbie! We are still in the healing process, but everything is healing great. He is their new spokesman, and anyone having shoulder complaints, he tells them about his excellent doctor and how they need to see him. Thank you, Dr. Kern and all the staff at University Orthopedic Surgeons and UT Day Surgery, for taking care of my son and making the best out of a bad situation. We are forever grateful!”
