I could actually hear my spinal cord vibrating on the spine. Dr. Cohen sent me for an MRI and upon receiving the results, had his staff set me up for surgery at Monmouth Medical. The kindness and professionalism from everyone in the office and at the hospital will forever be appreciated. “I could not asked for anything to be improved or changed. Parking was easy. Waiting room was clean and comfortable with plenty of TV's to watch and a good variety ofd magazines to read. My appointment was at 9 AM and was being seen at 9 AM . The ladies is this office were kind, polite and had great attitudes. Dr. Cohen entered the room and introduced himself and looked over my x-rays and MRI. He patiently listen to me about problem with my back. I explain the the inertial cause of my injury, what treatment I sort and how I presently was feeling. He listened to me with out rushing me. He then explained to me my X-Rays and MRI . He gave me his advise on what I should do next to help my injury get better and let me know what might need to be done next if my situation became worst. I left his office very comfortable about my visit with him and his office and would recommend him and his team to everyone.”

“Dr. Cohen is an excellent surgeon. I had three back operations with him and I am very pleased with the outcomes. My wife Rosemarie also had two back operations with Dr. Cohen and she also was pleased with her surgeries. Many people have advised me not to let anyone operate on my back. When you have pain that you cannot tolerate any further, an operation by Dr. Cohen is the only answer. They said that once someone operates on your back you will never be the same. They could not be more wrong. Dr. Cohen is a very caring and compassionate Doctor. When someone inquires about our surgeries and informs us of the pain they are in, we always recommend Dr. Cohen with no reservations. A couple of these people took our advice and were treated by Dr. Cohen and that includes in some cases surgery, and today they are glad they did. He is a credit to his profession.”

“My experience with Professional Orthopaedic Associates from start to finish has been excellent. I had severe sciatic nerve and spinal disc issues and was in extreme pain as well as having difficulty walking due to numbness in my left leg and foot. They did not waste any time ensuring I was properly cared for and received all necessary tests and exams.
Everyone was extremely knowledgeable in their specialties and also are very personable...they answered every question and concern clearly and they and their staff all showed concern, patience and gave assistance above and beyond the expected every step of the way from my diagnosis through surgery and beyond. It was a very unexpected surgery and the doctors and their staff, in particular Loretta Velting the surgical coordinator and her coworkers, ensured I was clear with every step of what would occur each and every step of the way, making multiple calls and keeping me, as well as my fiancée, aware of all steps in the entire process. They never let either of us wonder what was next and made sure to keep us advised of every detail necessary leading up to surgery at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Daknis and Dr. Cohen were simply the best! They still check up on me! That kind of patient concern and care from doctors and staff in this day and age is not often seen...and especially not across the board with every person in an office you need to interact with during the process of going through surgery. It was so appreciated and made a difficult time so much easier! I have felt so much better since my surgery. It has improved my quality of life tremendously! I still may need to have more disc surgery in the future on long standing disc problems from a long ago car accident and IF that happens, I will without reservation trust that future possibility, from diagnosing through any future surgery, to both Dr. Daknis and Dr. Jason Cohen. If I could I would award them MORE than just five stars. Thank you all at Professional Orthopaedic Associates for helping me.
