“My doctor, Dr. Fadi Saied, was very caring and professional. He explained what was happening to my hip joint and the process of the surgery from beginning to end. He addressed my concerns and did not rush me into a decision. Once the surgery was done, I had a recovery period of about six weeks. I admit it was painful at the start, but once I began healing, I could tell the surgery was the best decision. I went in for checkups and x-rays to ensure proper healing. Now I have full use of my hip and plan on having another hip replacement on the other side. Having a great surgeon who is reassuring and confident is the most important. Also, the scar is barely visible, if that is a concern to anyone.”
