Patient Reviews
The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Clyde.
“I have previously responded to a survey and described my surgery by Dr. Clyde, the staff, and everyone involved with my care as great. I also would like to include in my 5-star rating the visit I had with Kaylee Hollan (Certified Hand Therapist). After assessing my hand following carpal tunnel surgery, she printed a home exercise program for me. Thank you, everyone, for your care and courtesy.”

“Dr. Clyde was patient. He repeatedly spoke clearly for my mother, who has dementia, regarding her broken wrist. The tech that wrapped Mom with a permanent cast was extremely patient and calmed Mom down. As her daughter, I felt it was a great team for my mother. Thank you.”

“I had an injury to my dominant hand occur at the beginning of December 2023. It was from my dog accidentally catching my hand during a fierce game of tug of war. Although the skin healed over, the wound never healed below the surface of the skin. This caused pain and itching, so after several weeks I stopped in at Urgent Care. The UC doctor ordered an X-ray and tried his best to cut open the wound in order to release any infection. However, due to the area being so close to a major artery, he was hesitant to cut any deeper. I scheduled an appointment with my PCP a couple of weeks later, and she ordered an ultrasound. Following my PCP's review of the ultrasound, she ordered a visit to an orthopedic specialist. I was given a choice of two orthopedic facilities in the area. As a Lancaster Catholic High School teacher, I had heard Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster often mentioned, especially by one of my students whose father was the late Dr. Essis. In addition, I asked my trusted parents for their opinion, to which they also recommended Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster. After meeting Dr. Clyde for the first time, I was a bit nervous. My nerves began to calm when Dr. Clyde began explaining everything thoroughly. Additionally, although he typically uses an MRI for such surgeries, he was willing to use the ultrasound I had completed at a different facility to guide him in the surgery of my hand. Dr. Clyde was extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and he is absolutely fantastic at what he does. After almost four months along this journey, my hand now looks amazing.”
