“I had prior knee replacement two years ago with another provider. I have been having a lot of upper thigh pain as well as in need of hip replacement. The other surgeon refused to address the thigh pain. However, Dr. Roberts took one look and knew it was from tourniquet used during knee surgery. He replaced my hip two weeks ago, and the result is terrific. I found him to be patient, personable, a good listener and all I could/would want from a Doctor. “After being in pain for years, unable to climb stairs using both legs, unable to use non-handicapped toilets, unable
to get out of chairs, and being told I had bone-on-bone arthritis and in definite need of knee replacement surgery,
I made an appointment with Dr. J. Roberts.
He said according to my x-rays it wasn't bone-on-bone enough to warrant surgery in his opinion, and sent me to physical therapy.
None of the three other doctors I'd seen for my knees had ever mentioned physical therapy as an option.
Two weeks into therapy I was almost pain free and moving almost normally in the activities that had caused me so much pain for
YEARS.
